Running YOUR personal trains on OMRA’s layout.
The OMRA layout is a DCC controlled layout. Before you put YOUR personal loco on the tracks of the layout you need to be aware of a couple of things.
If your loco has a motor by Proto Power West / A-Line it MUST have a decoder installed - otherwise the motor will burn out when you put it on the track with the power on. This is also true for some Northwest Short Line motors and all micromotors. These motors will work fine with a decoder installed.
OMRA cannot be held responsible for ANY damage to YOUR locomotives that you choose to operate on the layout.
